Weddings at Christ Church

| Nestling at the heart of the picturesque garden village of Port Sunlight, Christ Church is a most popular choice for weddings. Classical in architectural style, (see Picture Gallery) it houses a four-manual Willis II organ, perhaps the best example of such an organ in the whole of the country, if not world wide. We also have a peal of eight bells, most unusual for a United Reformed Church (the only other being in Saltaire, Bradford). And we can even provide an albeit small choir if required. So Christ Church could be your ideal choice providing all you might expect in a church wedding. The only constraint, apart from the fact that any marriage at the church is at the discretion of the Minister, is that at least one of the couple must, generally, be resident within the 'Birkenhead Registration District' which, however, extends over a large part of Wirral, or else be a regular worshipper at the church. We may be able to accommodate weddings not already arranged for the current year and, of course, will accept enquiries for weddings for next year and beyond. If you feel you might wish to be married in Christ Church, please do not hesitate to contact the Weddings Secretary at weddings*ccpsurc.info (but replacing the * with the usual @ sign)
The reason for not placing the @ sign in the address is to avoid the unscrupulous practice whereby websites are automatically searched for addresses to send unsolicited e-mails (known as SPAM). We apologise for this minor inconvenience, trusting you will sympathise.
