READ THIS NOW!

The Listening Skills Course, run by the Central Council, is an all day seminar starting at 10:00 a.m. and finishing about 5:00 p.m.

Who should attend? The Seminar is suitable for all ringers, especially those keen to understand the listening skill better. It is particularly suitable for teachers of ringers since they will pass on what they learn to a larger number of people.

Format. The course has a strong practical content, with three sessions based on:
  • a standard ringing simulator
  • a listening tutor (!Strike)
  • recorded ringing (CD)
  • Numbers. There is a practical limit of six in each of three groups so total is 18! For this reason, we shall be holding open one place for each active tower of which there are 16. In the event that a tower does not send a representative, then places will be made available on a 'first come - first served' basis. So book your place/s NOW! Please note there is a nominal fee of £5 for each attendee to defray travel costs.
