| Wirral Branch May Bank Holiday Car Outing Monday 2nd May 2005 Thanks to John Collinson (Eastham) for a really well organised outing - this at his 'first attempt'!
Sunny, if cool, start but the rain caught up with us later in the day. A good pub lunch, however, ensured we had sufficient fuel to keep warm. No lock-outs - although there was delayed admission at Gresford, even after the keys were located! No one got lost thanks to a typically detailed tour map created by Bob Peers (Bromborough).
