In the 2003 Branch 6-Bell Striking Competition Port Sunlight (13½ faults), ringing call-changes, ran out winners for the 13th time since first winning in 1985. Judge Peter Furniss complimented all the bands on their performances on these not-so-easy bells. |

Port Sunlight were presented with the Alex Martin Shield and go forward to represent the Wirral Branch in the Guild 6-Bell to be held on 12th July in the Chester Branch (Dodleston).
