2004 STRIKING COMPETITION
| BURTON
| Saturday 24th April: Draw 4.30 pm
|
Judges: Steven Hughes and Bob Peers (Bromborough) |
In the 2004 Branch 6-Bell Striking Competition the Ladies' band were judged winners, a result not disputed by any who heard the high standard achieved! Second was the Men's band, while Oxton were the highest placed tower band, followed by Port Sunlight, West Kirby then the two Eastham bands. | The judges were both agreed on the order throughout but did not announce any scores because they used different methods of scoring.
