Work carried out on the Bell Installation 1995 - 96

New door made and hung for Bell Chamber.
False floor fitted. All round outside of bellframe and under-space filled with 6" of glass fibre. All bell pits filled with 6" of glass fibre and covered with ½"thick natural fibre board, all to help deaden sound in Ringing Chamber.
South and west louvres screened with acrylic sheeting under existing wire mesh to exclude pigeon debris and rain.
All rubbish removed and Bell Chamber swept out and left clean and tidy.
