From the Mears daybooks at Whitechapel Bell Foundry:
"Capenhurst, Cheshire: Whitechapel daybook 10 Dec.1857 4 bells for Capenhurst new church, per order S. Harrison, architect, Chester.
Peal of four, 2-0-25, 2-2-3, 3-0-22, 3-3-2 (11-2-24) with ringing fittings and oak frame."

Clarke (Part III):
mentions the original four cast by the Whitechapel foundry in 1857 and presented by G.M. Taswell Esq.
