The above information has been extracted from archive material - return from July, 1939 survey conducted by the Chester Diocesan Guild of Church Bell Ringers - supplemented by data (weights and diameters) kindly provided by Taylors of Loughborough (March 2002).
| | At the foot of the tower there are two screens, one either side of the 'entrance' to the ringing area, separating it from the nave. Each of the screens has, across its full width, a brass plaque bearing, respectively, the following incriptions.
