ANTI-SPAM MEASURE
Last updated 25 February 2005
In order to reduce the amount of SPAM (unsolicited, 'junk' email) received through the use of e-mail addresses on this website, the following measure has been implemented on this website.

E-mail addresses on the website include an asterisk * in place of the normal @ sign.

This is to help reduce the amount of spam received by preventing illegal software automatically finding and using legitimate e-mail addresses previously shown on this website.

When using these legitimately, users (you!) will find when they come to 'Send' a message, your software should recognise the absence of the @ sign. All you need do is to edit the address by changing the * to @.

It is recognised that this is a minor irritation but it should help reduce the amount of spam received through the use of e-mail addresses on the website.

NEVER RESPOND TO SUCH EMAILS AS THIS ONLY CONFIRMS TO SPAMMERS THEY HAVE HIT A LIVE ADDRESS.

I hope all this helps.
