Above weights confirmed by Taylors bellfoundry, March 2002.
(Previously table showed 7-1-16 and 11-3-0 for 5th and 8th respectively).

The original octave was cast in 1895 by John Taylor & Co Ltd, and given to the church by a local benefactor, Edmund Taylor, on condition that the parishioners paid for the cost of building a wall around the churchyard! The two trebles added in 1976 are dedicated to Edmund and his wife, Mary.
