Tenor inscription: The C after 9 has a slash through it indicating, one assumes, cwt.
The spelling of the name of the second churchwarden is erroneous. It should be HAGUE.

Earlier Woodchurch Bells
In 1846 the existing three bells at Woodchurch were replaced by a ring of five and this ring was augmented to six in 1884.

Whilst the bells were being rung for a wedding on 15th July 1970, the tenor cracked, which precipitated action leading to the casting of the present octave.
